Welcome to our HyFlex space at the Dream Inn Santa Cruz!

Choose from two registration options:

  1. In-person Thursday (with catered breakfast and lunch), plus access to Friday’s virtualm\ sessions via Zoom.
  2. Virtual access to select workshops on Thursday (by Zoom, depending on session) and access to videos of all sessions, plus access to Friday’s virtual sessions

Registration deadline for presenters: Monday, June 10, 2024. If you register after this date, we will be unable to include your name in the program.

Please purchase registrations separately for each person.

Part of each registration will be contributed to Amah Mutsun Land Trust 

Refund Policy: Refunds may be requested by Monday, June 10, 2024; however, we are unable to provide refunds requested after that date.

Hotel/Room Discount Information: We have a small hotel block at the Dream Inn for Wednesday night at the reduced price of $399/night plus taxes and fees. This price includes parking. Please contact the hotel at 831-740-8069 to reserve one of the limited rooms at the Young Rhetoricians’ block rate.

Book or Resource Table (in person Thursday; virtual Friday)

Publishers will have 15-minute presentation slots in-person throughout the day on Thursday, June 22 and virtually Friday, June 23 to introduce their products. They will have an additional session on Friday afternoon for one-on-one meetings with attendees.


Donations & Sponsorships

Donations made will be used to fully or partially cover the fees of graduate students or contingent faculty who are not fully funded by their academic institutions. We will also use donations to purchase supplies for the conference. YRC is a non-profit organization staffed by volunteers who receive no monetary compensation for their work. Your contribution may be tax deductible.

All donations are appreciated and will be used to support the conference and its attendees.

Sponsor Attendees with Financial Need

A donation of $75.00 can fund an online conference registration for a graduate student, and a donation of $100.00 can fund an online conference registration for a part-time faculty member.

A donation of $100.00 can fund an in-person conference registration for a graduate student, and a donation of $150.00 can fund an in-person registration for a part-time faculty member.
