With some of us returning to the classroom, and others teaching remotely online, the thread of teaching transitions weaves through our central conference theme:
- using Reading Apprenticeship (RA) to create holistic, integrated reading and writing experiences for students;
- developing pedagogies of care and compassion that incorporate mindfulness and self-care; and
- recognizing the incredible pivots we’ve all made in our teaching and how these pivots have incorporated new practices with social reading using online technologies.
